Conceit Poem

To conceit or not to conceit, that is the comparison.

1. Love is full of many things,

2. Showed by items such as wedding rings,

3. Many things can cause us to  hurt,

4. Like false love or just a flirt,

5. There are many joys love can bring

 

6. One of the world’s beautiful sights,

7. When arguers see it they cease to fight,

8. Sometimes small and thin, and sometimes big and wide,

9. you may even need a guide,

10. The love flows like rays of light.

 

11. Showers of water, love, and  grace,

12. They come on you like a kiss to the face,

13. Neither fail to make one happy,

14. You could find them both quite trapping,

15. If love is near then your in the right place.

 

16. Crushing, yet still builds you up

17. Like volcanoes they can erupt,

18. A beautiful sight, also a gift,

19. Hits you like a musical rift, 

20. Though can appear quite abrupt.

Love of Nature

This is a story about me and my love for nature, hence the title. One day after watching an awesome movie I decided to go outside. my reason was to act out the movie and film my own version. I climbed trees, jumped off my roof, ran around and threw oranges at a fence. While doing all of this I just stood back and realized the beauty of nature, and how much fun it is to be in and watch. Just think withought nature life would be miserable, video games do not compare to the variety of things you can do outside. The reason the outside is so beautiful and fun is because of all the fun things you can imagine to do. Nature is refreshing and calkming (a nice breeze can shorten any temper)- Ryan Young. After filming the movie and watching it I saw how retarded the film was, but also how much fun I had. I do this a lot though so this was just one of many possible stories, and yes my movie always end up being stupid. I am so glad that we have nature to look at and play in. My Invention

If I was going to invent something, this is what it would be. A mirror that you could go through and enter an alternate reality. Once your inside anything you want happens, because everything is at your command. In the mirror I would request a computer that could make anything you look up on it real. an example would be you look up an apple then it appears on the screen, when you click enter it appears in an appointed spot by you. also while your inside you dont age so you can stay in as long as you want and never get old. Oh! and even things not possible can become reality in this alternate world. While you thier everything is at your bidding. you can bring things and people inside or out of the mirror. Also I would invent new inventions in this mirror. I would probably spend alot of time their just having fun. Also you can request the IQ you would like to have during your time their. No war would ever happen and everything would  always be peaceful. It would have such an impact on people they would not have time to fight until they became greedy jerks and wanted it all to themselves. Now for the reasons I would invent this mirror. Well number one you could create money inside this mirror ending poverty and bad economy. also you can be very smart, never grow old, and cease all wars for a long time. You could invent more things. everyone would have a perfect life. It would make everything better. Some inventions I would make in the mirror would be. A car that could turn into and airplane and a boat, need I tell you the reasons invent this. I would invent clones and robots and holographic people. This mirror, as you see would have many uses. The biggest reason of all for creating it though would be so people could enjoy themselves. You could go on vacations for free, build your own theme parks, see what your kids would look like when they got older. Many great uses would come frome this invention. Oh! one more thing you could change the weather to whatever you wanted it to be, and everyone would own their own mirror and they could meet up with each other. That is what I would invent and my reasons why.

The Dark Knight

This is twenty sentences on my favorite movie, which is ,of  coarse , Batman 2 “The Dark Knight”. This movie, in my opinion and the opinion of many of my friends is the best to ever come out in theaters. I know that sounds a bit like an exaggeration, but if you think that then you must not have seen the movie. This movie had action, but no blood, it left everything to the mind. Another thing is it was very dark, which gave the feel of how Gotham City really is. One of the things that was awesome about this movie was every actor was good even Alfred, I love Michael Caine. I can’t say the same for the main actress though, “Maggie Gyllenhaal” also known as “Pig-face Gyllenhaal”. My favorite parts of the movie were the parts with  the Joker “Heath Ledger”, I always wanted to know what he was going to do or say next. Even though he is a bad guy you can’t help but like him. He was not the star though Batman “Christian Bale” was. He is so far the best Batman ever. This movie was directed so well it is like they pin-pointed everything  to the exact perfect detail. This movie affected me in both good and bad ways. I got to obsessed with Joker, which really is not a good thing and i’m working on it. Another thing is everytime I here about this movie or see something to do with it, I get sad because Heath Ledger is dead and there is not going to be a Batman three. Some good ways it affected me are when I see the Joker falling off the building about to die, laughing the whole way down it brings me to this moment where I’m like Yes that was awesome. That was the most dramatic scene in a superhero movie ever. This movie was great on two levels, on a superhero level it was the best and just on movie level I still think it is the best. Those are my thoughts on the best movie ever created in the history of man kind, none will top it. I can’t wait until this movie comes out. I want the ultimate, super, special 2 disc, awesome, great, best edition to come out on Blue Ray.

Thanksgiving

Here is a little story of what I did for my Thanksgiving break. First I went to my grandparents and stayed there for a few days. I played some games, went on the internet, and got some new songs on my ipod. Truthfully the first couple of days were boring. Then my cousin came over and he fixed my ipod which was’nt going on the internet so I could finally use it. Thankfully they had wifi at there house and I was’nt completely bored. I was going to hang out with my younger cousine, but my aunt got sick. At around the fourth day my brother stopped by. He was the one who downloaded the songs onto my ipod we hung out at the house for a while then went to the rock climbing gym. We got back at six o’clock and ate dinner. Before we left my grandmother had me use my translator app. On my ipod to translate some Italian writing on an antique plate she had. When we finished doing that we left for my house. We were having Thanksgiving with the Napoli’s this year, so they came over at five thirty. We had Thanksgiving dinner at six thirty and man was it good. For dinner we had turkey, ham, corn, green beans, and casseroles. Once we finished I went with the Napoli’s to the Lingo’s house. We went on a five in the morning shopping spree, and John got an “IPOD TOUCH”. We had a fun time, but then my dad picked me up and I went home. Thats when I decided to do all my homework.

     My twenty sentences of blogging are going to be about music, as stated in the title. Everyone likes some form of music, no matter how old they are. It is part of human nature to have music in your life, even if it is not your calling. Some music is influential, some is just entertaining, and some of it flat out sucks according to the opinion of that specific person. Here are a few types of music that are well-known: rap, rock and roll, country, heavy metal, indie, jazz, and hip-hop. In my opinion rock and roll, indie, and hip-hop are the best, but that’s not everyone’s opinion. Music can affect  people, in good or bad ways, depending on the circumstance. Different types of music affect people in different ways, for instance, too much heavy metal and screamo can result in violent behaviour. Rap is another type of music where the person listening decides how to take it. Someone listening to the music could get so invovled with it that they start doing what the lyrics say. Some good affects of music would be a nice up-beat rock and roll song or some soft music to relax you. Praise music is also good for when you want to praise God, but worship is when you want to get a little more serious and hear from God. Sometimes people want to listen to music when they’re working to make time go by faster. I like to listen to music when I’m mowing a lawn, or doing some other form of work. When I’m really bored I turn on my music for a while to make the time pass by quicker. I think music is a need that humans have, like when there is a beat going you just start to tap your foot, or you’ll hum a tune to yourself. People should like music for music, not because of what other people say. Do you ever notice when ever you’re at a store or watching a movie there is always music playing. People should be careful about the music they listen to because it can be very affective. Those are my thoughts on music.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

     This is a blog on the movie we watched in English class (Mr. Smith Goes to Wahington). Overall I thought it was a good movie, besides the fact that I dont like blach and white movies. I thought that some parts were funny. I think that it gave a good explanation of Washington. Although some parts were not really things in Washington. My favorite part was when he went to the Lincoln Memorial. The reason that this is my favorite part is because that is my favorite tourist spot in Washington. When I went there that was what I anticipated the most. Once i got there it was awesome, so when they showed that in the movie it was a cool part. i also looked for the face on the back of Lincoln’s head. I could only see it a little though. I wouldnt have seen it if I didnt already know where it was. Some funny the movie were how excited he was to go and when there. He wanted to see everything. When he passed the movie theater he was freaking out thinking that it was something awesome. Then he figured out that it was just a movie theater. It was cool how all the boys wanted him to go to Washington . I thought that it was funny when they got him the gift and the chubby kid told him what it was before he got it. It was hillarious when he punched the people at the court house. I didnt think it was cool that he liked that girl. She looked wierd. One thing I noticed and I know it’s an old movie but when hey were driving in the car how the backgroing was just a picture. I liked the movie because it had a good story line, it was funny, and educational. Also it was’nt one of those boring educational movies besides the fact that it was black and white. I think it was good that he was fighting for the boys to have a camp. the movie had a good moral. Another thing I noticed was for being made that long ago it was filmed pretty well. There were some parts that were filmed kind of bad, but over all it was good. The movie was boring in the beginning, but then it got better. That is my blog on the Mr. Smith Goes to Washington movie.

Lincoln Memorial

     First off i went to Washington, and it was pretty fun. We saw a bunch off buildings, memorials, and museums. The one I liked the most was the Lincoln Memorial, and thats what I am writing my thirty sentences on. Sure the others were good but to tell you the truth the Lincoln was the only one that I remember that still had scripture in it. Also I just liked the whole atmosphere of that place seeing the statue and the big pool with the Washington Memorial on the other side, plus the steps were fun to walk up and jump down. I read the scripture behind him and the one on the left , but the one on the right was too long. We only got to stay there for a little while. I got to take a few pictures though. One thing that was fun was taking pictures of people like they were leaning on the statues or holding them up.

Daniel Chester French sculpture inside the Lincoln Memorial

     Now here are a few facts about the memorial. The sculpters name was Daniel Chester French. Martin Luther King gave his speech here. It is open twenty-four hours a day and was labeled number seven, for favorite architectures to visit, by the American Institute Of Architects.Another cool fact about the statue is the sculpter sculpted Robert E. Lee’s face into the back of Abraham Lincoln’s hair.   This whole building was based off the temple of zeus where we get most of our architect from. the statue is nineteen feet nineteen inches high, and nineteen feet wide. I thought was really cool when i saw the face in the back of the statue. Zach is the one who discovered it. It is a nose, eye, beard, and hair. It was hard to find at first, but now it is easy to see.

     I hope I get to go to Washington again and see all the memorials that i missed. I remember being there thinking this is a once in a life time thing, most likely the only time I’ll be going with my whole class. THE Lincoln Memorial was the one I was most anticipating. The other thing besides the space museum that I wanted to see was the Holocaust Museum, but we never got to cause it was closed for some holiday. Looking into the reflection pool was really asweome and taking a picture of it from the exact center was preety sweet. Another thing we visited that was fun was the Luray Caverns. We went like fifty feet down and saw a lot of neat things. The coolest thing was the water reflecting the stalactites on the roof. Well that was my exerience in Washington. Grammer For Dummies

Here is a metaphore for grammer rules even though i rarely get on this site and kinda hate it i thought that i should post this. Man i feel really gay right now. Ok here it goes (” Grammer rules are like light hitting a diamond, as soon as they meet you dont know which ray to follow”).

Now here is the explanation for the tards who did’nt get it. As we all know when light hits a diamond its many rays (little beams of light) shoot in many different directions because of the different angles and cuts in the diamond and it is transparent/translucent. grammer rules apply to many different things and half the time dont mean anythingso i campared the two.

Maus

Here are my thoughts on the Maus book. I know its not a christian book and there is some innapropriate material in it, but i think that we can handle it and that it will teach us a lot. Another thing is it’s a comic book so who wouldnt want to read it. It won’t be boring because there is pictures and it is going to prepare us for the Holocaust Museum in Washington. I can’t wait to get started though I can’t say im excited to get on to the next book cause it’s not going to be a comic book, at least I don’t think. The part with the two mice together was pretty funny i laughed when I saw that part. I’m guessing that the spelling is in German. I don’t really want to go to the Holocaust Museum because it seems like it is going to be really depressing and a sad time. Even though i want to learn about what happened, and see what I remember from Pastor Fred’s class. those are my thoughts on the book Maus. Its getting close to Washington, one week.
